Associate Technical Manager for Web & Mobile Applications


Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Technical Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of robust web & mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web & mobile technologies, architectures, and cloud-based solutions. He will work closely with Leads, Project Managers, and Clients to create scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain the overall architecture for web & mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategies.
  2. Define the technical roadmap, identifying areas for improvement, scalability, and innovation.
  3. Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design patterns, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  4. Review and approve technical designs, ensuring they meet architectural standards and project requirements.
  5. Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to determine their applicability to our web & mobile applications.
  6. Oversee the integration of third-party services, APIs, and tools into existing systems.
  7. Ensure web & mobile applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
  8. Conduct regular performance assessments and implement improvements where necessary.
  9. Establish and enforce security protocols, ensuring web applications adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  10. Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  11. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  12. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment processes.
  13. Establish coding standards, review processes, and ensure compliance across development teams.
  14. Implementing DevOps across projects involves integrating development and operations processes to improve collaboration, efficiency, and the overall software development lifecycle.


Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a associate technical manager or lead role.
  3. Proven experience architecting and delivering complex web & mobile applications using modern technologies (e.g., Android, iOS, React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Java, etc.).
  4. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
  5. Proficiency in frontend and backend technologies.
  6. Strong knowledge of web & mobile application security best practices.
  7. Experience with database design and management (SQL and NoSQL).
  8. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  10. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
  2. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  3. Knowledge of AI/ML integration in web applications.
