Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to drive technical execution and coordinate day-to-day project activities. The Project Lead will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project milestones while managing technical teams and stakeholder expectations.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical leadership, project coordination, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, risk management, and client interaction.


Key Responsibilities

Technical & Delivery Leadership

  1. Lead end-to-end technical execution of assigned projects/modules.
  2. Break down project scope into actionable tasks and assign to team members.
  3. Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and quality processes.
  4. Drive on-time and defect-free deliverables.
  5. Conduct technical reviews and ensure best practices implementation.

Project Coordination & Tracking

  1. Support the Project Manager in planning schedules, effort estimates, and tracking progress.
  2. Monitor daily/weekly project status and highlight risks proactively.
  3. Track deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.
  4. Maintain project documentation and work products.

Risk & Issue Management

  1. Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  2. Resolve day-to-day project issues and escalate when required.
  3. Support change management processes.

Stakeholder & Client Interaction

  1. Act as a technical point of contact for clients.
  2. Participate in requirement discussions and technical clarification sessions.
  3. Provide status updates and technical reports as required.

Team Management & Mentoring

  1. Guide and mentor developers and engineers.
  2. Conduct code reviews and performance feedback sessions.
  3. Ensure optimal team productivity and collaboration.
  4. Support skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.


Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field.
  2. 5+ years of IT industry experience.
  3. Minimum 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or modules.
  4. Experience in managing mid-to-large scale IT projects preferred.


Required Skills

  1. Strong technical background (relevant to domain/technology stack).
  2. Experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies.
  3. Risk identification and mitigation skills.
  4. Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
  6. Knowledge of Information Security practices and quality compliance.
  7. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar.
