Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Lead to drive technical execution and coordinate day-to-day project activities. The Project Lead will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project milestones while managing technical teams and stakeholder expectations.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical leadership, project coordination, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, risk management, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Technical & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end technical execution of assigned projects/modules.
- Break down project scope into actionable tasks and assign to team members.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and quality processes.
- Drive on-time and defect-free deliverables.
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure best practices implementation.
Project Coordination & Tracking
- Support the Project Manager in planning schedules, effort estimates, and tracking progress.
- Monitor daily/weekly project status and highlight risks proactively.
- Track deliverables, dependencies, and milestones.
- Maintain project documentation and work products.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Resolve day-to-day project issues and escalate when required.
- Support change management processes.
Stakeholder & Client Interaction
- Act as a technical point of contact for clients.
- Participate in requirement discussions and technical clarification sessions.
- Provide status updates and technical reports as required.
Team Management & Mentoring
- Guide and mentor developers and engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and performance feedback sessions.
- Ensure optimal team productivity and collaboration.
- Support skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of IT industry experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or modules.
- Experience in managing mid-to-large scale IT projects preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong technical background (relevant to domain/technology stack).
- Experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies.
- Risk identification and mitigation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- Knowledge of Information Security practices and quality compliance.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or similar.
